Hello Again!

Ah it's good to be back... I've had a very extended blog break, just over half a year long! I went from posting twice a week to a downwards spiral as a series of events all happened at once which left me feeling very jet lagged and lost. I came to the hard decision of taking down the blog until I came to terms with the changes in my life and here I am, once again!

I hadn't only been away from my blog but I also abandoned the majority of social media but I can say with confidence that it has done me some good. I spent time digging deeper to find the things I enjoy in life and surrounded myself with them and I've hit a few major life milestones in the short amount of time too...

For the past several months I've been adjusting to a dramatic change in my life, someone special. We've been together for little over half a year, we live together, have a beautiful baby (which may I add is the cutest little kitten you're ever going to lay eyes on, unless you have your own furry bundle of joy) and we're hoping to get married next year, hooray! It all sounds cute with butterflies and rainbows but dividing your personal space and just handing it to someone on a plate was hard! Worth it, but hard.

Also on my very long break I've been thinking a lot about my mental health and have decided it's something I want to use to help others, I want to write about small ways I've tried improving my own health to inspire and support people who may be or may think they are suffering from something similar. No more hiding it from the world, I'm finally announcing publicly that I am a MH suffer too. (That was scary to say... I kind of want to delete that part but I'm tired of hiding behind closed doors!)

Lastly I've also been thinking a lot about the blog and how I wanted to change it for when I came back, I've been putting the relaunch off for the past 3 months because I wanted to make sure everything was ready and absolutely perfect but quite frankly in my mind I'm running around like a headless chicken because even though my blog relaunch checklist is complete I'm still finding things that need altering, sigh.

So I'm back, a fresh clean blog, no old posts, no old theme, everything is completely new besides the name and I also have a new topic range too instead of just lifestyle and beauty posts. (I felt too restricted with two topics!) I'll be posting about life, art/stationary, blogging and mental health so if any of these topics suit you then stick around! You can be notified when I put up a new blog post through my twitter or blog loving account which is linked at the bottom of this post.

So it's been hectic but I'm finally back... *huge sigh of relief*
